Exit – Placeholder

What you have just experienced is not an exhibit. It is a hospital ready for deployment. After this trade fair, it will be packed back into crates, loaded onto trucks, and then stored in the GRC logistics centre - ready for the next mission. Where? We do not know. But of one thing we can be sure: it will be greatly needed by the people it serves.

The GRC Emergency Hospital is embedded in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Together with sister societies around the world, it is deployed where the need is greatest — in natural disasters, armed conflicts and humanitarian crises.

More than 250,000 consultations, more than 11,300 surgical procedures, more than 1,200 births — these are the figures from a single deployment in Rafah. The next deployment will come. The only question is when, and where. But wherever it may be in the world, the Red Cross Emergency Hospital always provides protection and aid for injured and sick people under the most extreme conditions. Impartial, neutral and independent.

On your way back to the entrance of the tour, you can visit two more stations on the outside of the hospital: Power Generation and Water Treatment — the invisible foundation for everything you have just seen.
