Diagnostics and laboratory testing in the field

The laboratory is part of the basic diagnostic equipment of a Red Cross Emergency Hospital. Blood tests, rapid tests and other analyses are performed here — they are essential for sound diagnosis and the right treatment.

The service portfolio also includes blood typing for transfusions, the detection of infectious diseases and the monitoring of laboratory values during inpatient stays. Results feed directly into treatment planning and are documented in the digital health information system (RCHIS).

The GRC provides laboratory equipment, among other items, for the Red Cross Emergency Hospital in Rafah.
